How to get enlightened during a weekend.

Hey Super Cool Gang,

Today I would like to scratch a surface of very personal topic, which is:  PARENTS.

These two people are responsible for my appearance in this world! ;-)

I must honestly admit, that it was not long time ago (beginning of 2008), when I have been like majority of  people in the western world:

Gosh, I cannot stand them! There are so old fashioned. They have no clue what is life about. I’m so glad, that I can live on my own, so no one is nagging me. I hate their silly questions. Oh boy, let me not lose my temper during their visit.

Are you recognizing yourself, in it? Do you to face the same struggles?

Carry on reading, please!

Question Of the Week #15

Hello Super Cool Gang-ers,

Let us imagine that we have Time-Machine, here. And all of us must step into it. We can go back or forward in time, we just cannot stay where we are now. So, question of the week is:

If you are in the time machine, which year would be your desired destination and why?

I am so curious to know your choice of the “time” trip;-)

P.S.: I was inspired to ask you Question of the Week by recently uploaded TED speech by Michael Specter.

One Thing You Should Know About Earth

RamaHey Super Cool Gang,

I must confess:  “I am in trouble. I am totally hooked up with science-fiction. HELP!” 😉

After innocent introduction to Arthur Clarke last month with his book Rendezvous With Rama. I am already reading 3rd part of the saga about spaceship Rama. I can’t take my eyes away from the book and my sleeping routine is completely thrown out of the balance due to late night involvements into the action of human space travelers and their stories.

Today I wanted to share with you one quote, which was told by mother (Nicole) to her 5 kids  who were born on the spaceship and have never been on Earth:

If there is one thing, which you should know about Earth, it would be LOVE. Knowing what love is and how to love is enough for you to know.

Have a LOVE-ly weekend my dear friends.

Inspire and love each other.

HUGS.

Happy Birthday, Mum!

The Best Lady on Earth. Thank You for Everything

[Video] Re: Ogilvy’s Search For The World’s Greatest Sales Person

Hey Super Cool Gang,

today’s post is spontaneous reaction to the contest by Ogilvy, which was brought to my attention thanks to Aden Hepburn via his blog post. Following Youtube video is calling out for:  Search for the World’s Greatest Sales Person was inspiration for today’s “shipment”.

Here they are: #1 Video about Statistics Factor,#2 Video about Envy Transfer, #3 Video about Metaphor, #4 Video about Jargon Joust, #5 Video about Name Stamp, #6 Video about Personal Touch

KIND REQUEST TO YOU, SCG-ERS:

IN ORDER TO HAVE  FULL  EXPERIENCE FROM TODAY’S VIDEO POST PLEASE:

I cannot wait to hear from YOU.

[Video] In Sučany: After “shipping” another gift for Slovakia

Hi Super Cool Gang

greetings from Sučany tiny village in the north of central Slovakia, cca80 minutes drive from my hometown Poprad.

What did I do there?

Sučany is known for its bilingual Slovak – English Secondary School which is famous all over the country. I was invited to speak to students by founder of Sučany Alumni, my dear friend and “hard core” NGLS supporter Tom Jacko.

You can check out stream of pictures, HERE.

What are your thoughts on slide-deck?

😉

P. S. :  I was missing you SCG!
