Update: On Eyes, Which Changed My Life

Hello SCG,

couple of days ago, I have shared with you a private story about my dear friend Mohammed, who despite all his disabilities taught me the most important lessons of my life. Blog post How One Pair of Eyes Can Change Your Life has ranked among top 3  posts on Inspiring Shipments ever. BUT, the most precious reward “arrived” in an attachment of the email, which hit my inbox during a weekend. What was in it? Who was a sender?

Mohammad’s sister Houri (her home nick name is Farzaneh) sent me an email with pictures of her family attached. Words which made my heart left out the beat were:

hello sweet Ivana,

awesome weblog …i cried a lot and was touched …someone likes my brother…vowwwwwwwwwww. you are so nice and you changed Mohammed’s life as well as ours…

Let me share with you recent pictures of Mohammed and Ariana (Houri’s daughter), that little baby girl from 5 and half years ago😉

This is WHY I blog. Moments like these are priceless and make me alive.

Guys, I am honored I could “introduce” you to Mohammed and his lovely family.

Thank you for being with me during this re-connecting moments with people, who matters.

Be inspired and keep on changing lives.

It does not co$t anything to be opened.

Share your gifts.

Love

and

miracles will happen.

  1. Hi Ivana,

I am constantly surprised at the meaning I find in the most unexpected places. You must have been so happy to hear from his sister after posting the first part of this.

This is one of those stories that makes me think that we (humans) will continue (begin?) to work together and make the world a better place.

Thank you for sharing this amazing story!

    • Aaw, Mark!
I am so happy to see you here! Welcome to our Super Cool Gang!;-)

I share the same belief with you. I truly believe people are good, that they like to share their gifts and collaborate on something “deeper’ than a paycheck tasks. That is why I do, what I do.

Once again, I am grateful for your 1st comment on #IS.
      😉

  2. World wide reach is a powerful thing and you just never know who you might touch, or the life you might change. That’s one to dwell on.
