Today I would like to share with you tips on magazines worth – reading.
Part of lyrics from one of my favorite songs Everybody’s Free (To Wear Sunscreen) by Baz Luhrmann says:
…Don’t read Beauty Magazines, they will only make you feel ugly..
Dan Pink recommends in his super cool book A Whole New Mind to:
…Read Design Magazines, because it can sharpen your eye and inspire your mind…

I heard “Everybody’s Free” one day on the radio, a long time ago, and I never learned who did it. Thanks for the video link. Now I know.
I guess that I would modify the magazine line to read something like: “Don’t read Beauty Magazines, if they make you feel ugly,” since there’s nothing inherently wrong with them — especially if you enjoy paging through them.
There are a lot of pearls of wisdom in the song, but like everything else, we should take from it what we need and do away with the rest. Ray

Indeed that Sunscreen is superb song with great insights in it, i do listen to it very often, especially when i am running;-)
