:: CARS & “GOLD CLIENTS”

In November 2004, I needed to get three months internship experience as part of my fifth year at university. After flooding the globe with my CV, I have got very exotic offer to go for three months to Dubai. I flew in, with suitcase full of books for her diploma thesis, open heart and mind. Before finishing as intern in the reputable local company dealing with cars, I have asked if I could get a job?
The positive answer for this question, meant for me two years of incredible experience, as a sales executive, selling “three diamonds” cars.  I  have sold over 700 cars within two years.

As Sales Executive in Dubai

Two years of sales have exposed me to thousands of people and I have learned about numerous cultures and national stereotypes. It was the greatest university course ever: LIFE!

In the spring of 2007, I have passed three rounds of interviews in the bank which logo was designed by awesome lady Paula Scher (check out her talk on www.ted.com) I have joined Wealth management department as Relationship Manager for high net worth clients of the bank, called Gold clients. First month in the bank was spent by studying and preparing for certification to become Certified Investment Consultant, so I have got my stamp to work with when singing deals with clients.

In November 2007, I have applied for one week of annual leave, and traveled to Paris and to Slovakia. Turbulent thoughts in my head and heat of long summer time in Dubai needed to be cooled down. I was extremely lucky, when packing my suitcase. I have added an item, which changed my life! What was it?

What has happened, then?

I have returned to Slovakia in December 2007. I  quit my job in Dubai, packed my belongings and I’ve left behind 5 star life style in order to follow my heart’s calling.

Super cool attitude has entered my life and I have started to see the same world very differently.
