I was born on 18th June 1982 in Poprad, city in the north of Slovakia, just under the peaks of the highest mountains the High Tatras. I have amazing parents and younger brother Tom, who are supporting me the best way they can all my life. THANK YOU!
Parents
I have spent first eighteen years of my life in my hometown – Poprad. Since age of nine was my life dedicated to marvelous game basketball. My Dad was the main pillar of support during my basketball career, since he has come to see me play on my first tournament (The final score o the game was 4:2 and I have scored 4 points). Ever since, he was accompanying me and the team on every game. Poprad was and is characteristic for its long winters. During winter 1992 made my Dad with his own hands basketball board with ring and super cool chain net (as seen on TV). My summer holidays were day and night of joy in front of the house. While playing games mainly against boys and against any passing by visitors of the town, I was rapidly improving not only in basketball tricks and technique, but as “byproduct” of the street ball games with strangers were lessons learned on communication and dealing with much older people.
